The Bovy collection is inspired by a masterpiece of the art of medal making devoted to Chopin: a work of Jean-François-Antoine Bovy.
In 1837, this Geneva-based artisan portrayed the artist in the left profile in a medallion, his talent and dexterity earning making it recognised a masterpiece from the moment of origin.
